Like the new format of all deer being checked in online now. No tags or paperwork to mess with. Info will be realtime.

Guess I am old school would prefer to have both options as I have all but one metal tag from the deer I have killed. The one I donot have went to Alaska with my aunt with the deer I gave her when she was here for vaca years back. |

Just write down your DNR username and Password and stash it in your gear or wallet! I got all the way to the processor and remembered I hadn't checked in. You can use your phone of course but you need the login info. I called them direct and a nice lady checked it in for me.
Of course if you have any sense ( unlike me ) you'll have it at the house and check it in before you leave.

I miss the metal tags but I sure like the ease of checking one in without driving into town.
