A few weeks ago Vern and Keith had scoped out a fox den near an area we hunt Pheasants .... I drove North with my Aunt , niece and nefew today to see if I can get the kids a look at the fox pups .... We were lucky enough to see a hen pheasant pecking along the forest floor and I got a great close up before ot scurried off ... approx 8 feet away ... Pentax K100D digital SLR with 50-200mm F4-5.6 ED Lens . Same with the fox den .... only one pup showed for about 30 seconds and I got a couple of beauty close ups ... here is the last frame I got before he headed back down into the den ... I was approx 15 feet away for this shot ... Same set up as above .

nice pics... we get a litter of fox pups every year in our gravel pit but havent seen them yet. The tracks tell me the momma still runnin around so im sure ill be seein them soon. Had 3 last year runnin around they stayed all fall... havent got a visual on them for a while though but there not too far. They like to sleep on our stone piles in the summer because they get cool at night. Pretty nice to have "someone" watch you work all day besides the boss

Will your Pentax accept regular lenses or would I have to start over if I bought one?
