I have a daughter in law and she is anti hunting and how my son married her I will never know. I guess he forgot where the brain was at. So my grand daughters were at out farm visiting and I told them that I was going to check my live traps. Plus I was going to shoot the animal and skin it. So they were really excited to go. Well, they did not like to see the animal after I shot it and it bled and died. They kept saying it was he was nice. So the next day I caught another one and brought back home and let them see how wild it was. It was a big bore coon. Mean Mean Mean, and when they went up to the cage it went wild, then I said put this stick in it through the hole in the wire. In a heart beat it snapped it into with its mouth. Now, they know what a wild animal is and that they know they can be mean and dangerous. So after I shot it and then skinned it they were ok with it, plus I explained more to them. ;D

It's not just parents teaching kids the "anti" way. There is a teacher here in town that was always putting down me and my brother to my niece for our hunting and trapping hurting poor innocent animals, but no discussion as to habitat loss being the number one cause for animal problems.
Great job Granddad!

Yeah it's not like Disney films all cute and cuddly. Doesn't your Daughter-inlaw eat meat? I am amazed at how many people who don't "believe" in hunting eat meat and wear leather products.
