I was deer hunting (Illinois Late Firearm season) and had this female coyote run right under my stand and stopped at 75 yds broadside. 1 250 Barnes MZ and she didn't go far. It was perfect shot placement right behind the shoulder. This is my first coyote and I'm getting her mounted. I gotta talk to my taxidermist for my options. Sorry for the poor photo. This was about 7:20AM and it was lightly raining. I'm going back deer hunting in a little bit. Supposed to be freezing rain this afternoon. I'm not looking forward to that.

Congratulations on the MZ 'song dog'. The one I have mounted is a MZ kill too. It is an open mouth shoulder mount. Not a snarl, but just an open mouth.

Thanks guys. It was the only good that happened today. My gun had 1/8" of ice on it before I decided to get out.
Woody, I'm going to have the closed mouth mount done with mine. I like that mount though.
