Due to some unforeseen circumstances and the rainy weather I haven't been able to plant the food plot.
I had planned on planting soybeans and corn around the perimeter.
Due to work I most likely won't be able to get to the plot until June 27th.
Should I still plant those seeds, or should I just wait until later on to plant a fall crop? (30 miles SW of South Bend, IN) Plot is roughly 7/8 acre.

I would definitely wait for fall. It's to late to get decent pod production out of beans. You must be really close to me...I'm 35 miles sw of south bend. Trophy Paradise Habitat Consulting "Trophies are built from the ground up" m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=852914431431752

I saw a farmer the end if last week getting the last of his beans out. Warrick County. I'd say he knows what he's doing.

Guys are still planting bean's here in the south. Cut off for corn is around June 15th and beans July 1. Of course the later you plant the less you will have or chance a early frost will get. If you doing a food plot with bean's the deer will feed on the them whether they produce pod's or not.

Thanks guys. I still might plant the soybeans. The deer can eat the growing beans and I'll disc 'em in and plant a fall plot in Sept.

I didn't get my little soybean plot in until Labor Day weekend last year simply because it had been too wet....I'll be lucky if I can do that again this year
