Well, it seems that raccoons have invaded the area. They were scarse for the past few months, but with the warm weather they are really moving.
I trapped a bunch when I was younger, and still have all the equipment. (well, what was left from the thieves, that is.)
Does anybody know where there are fur buyers in the Walkerton/Plymouth/West or South Nappanee area that will buy coons in the round (not skinned)? Anybody know what the going price range is now?
Since the coons are prime, and deer season is winding down, it's time to thin them out.
Thanks, esshup

Troy Clark used to be a fur buyer. He had lived in Wolcot for quite a while, but moved to the Fort Wayne area (not sure where) a few years ago. He still does taxidermy work (TXJ Taxidermy), so I'd assume he's still buying fur. He might be a little bit far for you though.
I can probably get his contact info, but it'll take a while to get hold of the right people.

danf:
Thanks for the thought, but it's a bit far to drive - a good hour one way.
bsutravis:
Thanks! That's what I needed.
