Usually not a whole lot on trail cams to be too excited about in the first week of June, but this guy got me pretty excited. This camera is sitting 25 yards from the stand that I've killed my last 2 bucks out of. He certainly is showing a lot more antler than anything else I have seen this early!  |

Will be interesting to see him grow.
I'm looking forward to getting mine out again. I usually put them out over July 4th weekend. Funny how some years they are pretty well formed by then, and other years they are just getting started.

A nice way to get you excited about October in June LOL. I should be down next weekend to check some things over, fill feeders, and put out cameras. Its only June and I feel like October is just around the corner.

I was making a video for Small Acre Hunting just Saturday evening and across the field out stepped a young 2 1/2 year old buck with probably 4 inch bases covered in velvet with brows just starting....was really cool to experience and definitely got me all revved up for the Fall again!

Great looking deer already Met! Has me excited! If you don't mind, some guys/gals are finicky about showing too many pics and rightfully so, keep us posted on his growth.

I hope I get more pics of him. If I do, I will share...on 33.3 acres, it doesn't do me much good to be real shy about sharing pics. You can't keep a secret when you have a small property surrounded by lots of other small properties.  |
