Pictures are spotty at best because I've gotten used to the upload feature on Midwest Predator... it uploads the photo to the site without having to use photobucket. Therefor- I don't have as many pictures to share across the net these days. Just getting lazy I guess! Here's one I took on a night stand, long nighttime shot for me... 200 yards. A double I called up on Saturday, my buddy Dtrain put a heckuva shot on the second one... over 300 yards in the dark! Called up 4 on this stand, took two. And one of my trapline coyotes from Thursday- been fighting rain and haven't had a chance to run a line for more than two days straight yet!

That yote looks like he's got quite a coat on him! Great job!

It looks as if you certainly have the gear to put a hurt on them. Great shooting!

Thats a small female, I caught her in a standard dirthole set. This set was out in the WIDE open, along a mild crop change. Both fields were bean stubble but one was combined a few weeks before the other.... made for a great passive travelway.

jrbhunter, Why do you use such a long chain on your traps? Ever had a yote pump the stakes out of the ground using chain that long? Do you double cross stake, single or pogo's ? Swiveled at the base, in the middle, at stake and the trap? Thats a heck of a catch circle. I never seen anyone use a chain so long, makes me curious... Pic of a 3-legged female I got hanging waitin to be skinned, fleshed and stretched.

I run 4 swivels on #3 machine chain, 15" Burkshire stakes. A burkshire can't be pumped, I crosstake 24&18" 5/8 rebar when I do steel stake. Again, not likely to be pumped.
The coyote pictured was obviously quite a digger... not the results I was hoping for... but usually the catch circles are large soft disturbances and I can replace the trap differently each time. I do this for multiple coyotes from the same location- as many as 4 in 5 days using this method.
