I got to the lake yesterday at 11 AM and was on water shortly thereafter. I used a watermelon seed fluke all day and never changed bait. I brought 8 fish into the boat in my 4 hours on the water. Once I found where they were in the lake the bites picked up tremendously! I pulled out two 3 pounders, a 2.5 pounder, a 2 pounder, a 1.8 pounder, and three that could have been used for bait! Not a bad day on the water!
Water Temperature: 60.2 degrees Air Temperature: 62 degrees Wind Speed: 12 mph out of the South Bait: Watermelon Seed Fluke Area Fished: Any place with heavy tree stump/limbs coming up.

I'll bet pre-spawn largemouth.

That's what I am thinking was hoping it might be walleye.

Did you see any musky cruising around?

I did not. But an older gentleman was fishing off the dock on the south west end of the lake and hooked one on a rubber worm and it broke his line as he was trying to lift it onto the dock!
