Whole lot of LL holders out there that purchased on the condition that it covered all future licenses. As worded, that seems to contradict that agreement.

Lottery, eh?
I didn't have time to look into specifics. How many extra tags would be up for grabs?

Some will view it that way. Some will view it the way I mentioned. That, in itself, is a problem.

It's a way to raise revenue....If they sell 10,000 chances in a lottery for $30.00 each, that amounts to $300,000.....

Expically for a January hunt!!! If you look deep in the bill it spells out who pays and who don't...... Won't be any guessing!!!

Lifetime holders should be entered into the lottery for no additional charge.

Lifetime holders should be entered into the lottery for no additional charge. That would stack the deck in our (LL holders) favor....be little reason for anyone to pay to enter against such great numbers.

Yep. Late enough in the year....expensive enough to make a guy think about it....doubt they would have many if enacted and the wrinkles were worked out.

If you don't get chosen in the lottery drawing you might be able to go to a HIGH fence shooting preserve.

Or put in for a military refuge, state park hunt, or just drive across the state line somewhere. Lots of ways to keep hunting bucks, during the rut.
Myself, I have a tough enough time getting just 1 antlered buck..

What a crock. DNR really is transparent, it is all about money. I know of several affluent hunters that would gladly pay for a shot considering how much they spend for one buck it is a drop in the bucket to them.
