Two police officers responding to a domestic disturbance with a report of shots fired.
They arrived to find that an angry wife had shot her husband for walking across her freshly mopped floor. They called their sergeant at the station:
"Hello Sarge"
"Yes"
"It looks like we have a homicide here.
"What happened?"
"A woman shot her husband for stepping on the floor she had just mopped."
"Well then, place her under arrest and bring her to the station."
"Ummmm. We can't do that yet."
"Why not?"
"The floor is still wet."
