I was reading a fox hunting article in the freebie hunting paper you get at Gander Mtn. (can't remember the name of it) Anyway, it was telling about how this fella hunts under the full moon when there is snow on the ground with no lights....saying that it's normally bright enough to see the predators coming in under the moon light. My ? is....isn't it illegal to hunt without a light??? Also, what are the specifics of that Indiana law....do you have to have your light on the entire time you are out of the vehicle, or only when actively on a setup scanning for their eyes?

A continuously burning light that can be seen for at least 500 feet must be carried while pursuing furbearing animals between sunset and sunrise .
However that is Indiana's Regulation ....other States may vary and maybe the article was written by someone with much different regulations ....

Not too safe without a light of some sort.
