I have seen several foxes where I hunt and I am thinking about cleaning out a few. What is an acceptable caliber for fox? They aren't very big so I would imagine a .22 would work.

I've put a few down with a .22
One with a .223....that was a no brainer...literally! ;D

I managed 1 witha 22Lr Hollowpoint ....I like the 17HMR for 'em now -a - days , lil more zip and I've been able to drop coyotes inside of 75 yards with the 17HMR also .....
