Well seeings how I started this thread, I'll go first. I have had great luck calling in dogs using a Lohman Circe rabbit squealer. How about the rest of us?

I love my Sceery calls. AP-6 and AP-7 are by far my most favorite. For a howler, I go with the Red Derert Howler by Dan Thompson. That thing just makes some outstanding Yote vocalizations.

My favorite open reed and closed reed calls are both Krusty Kriers. I love those things! Now, as for calls you can buy, I still like my Crit-R-Call both pee-wee and standard. They've just produced well for me.

I don't own any of Wabi's varmint calls but I can sure vouch for his deer grunt tubes. He custom made me one in silver/black laminate that matches the stocks on my Omega 50 and Exomag. Hoosier, I've i used the Sceery cow elk call and it worked very well

I have even used primos can calls with good results when nothing else would draw them in, especially late in the season after all the rabbit squeelers have educated them.

I guess 'Ol Wily wises up to calls just like 'Ol Tom Turkey does too. I have used a duck call to the shock gobbles on turkeys before. No ducks within 50 miles of where I hunt and that sometimes shocks them to speak up.

I like the custom-made calls made in St. George, Utah. Killed my first 'yote using one of those calls. Also, I called in a red fox (that my buddy shot) using the same call. Where I lived reds are pretty rare, so it was cool to get him. Here's the dog I shot: [/img]

My gear bag is full of calls..LOL... I just love the sound of all of them. They all have done well for me in the past. The Circe is a very universal call but takes alot of movement to rotate to the other settings. I really dont have a favorite call because all I need to hear is a good rabbit distress call and Im ready to hit the woods with the 250. Side note, kitten sounds work real well on educated dogs.

I like my Ridgeviewer calls, custom made hand calls with the best sound quality I've ever seen. Easy to blow and good volume... can't beat em'. I ran the pilot run for the company almost a year ago and killed 9 coyotes in three weeks with them. I have since stopped using handcalls as frequently but in the short time I have owned these calls they have accounted for at least 15-16 skinning sessions.

I used a Primos dying rabbit call to take a yote with my bow this past november just a day before the deer firearms season opened. She weighed 29 pounds and came into 22yards. It was kinda funny to watch after the arrow pinned her to the ground, she jumped about 3 feet in the air and the arrow was sticking out both sides of her ribs. She made a fast retreat the way she came and ran headfirst into a tree then died. I don't know if the double lung hit killed her or if she broke her neck when she slammed into that tree! Nevertheless she only went 25 yards from the spot of the arrows impact. I decided to have a head mount made from her as I have tried for many years to kill a coyote with my bow. It is hard to get your bow drawn on them without being spotted.

They can pick you out in a heart beat in a treestand. Quicker than any animal have ever seen.. including turkeys. I've got an open mouth (not snarling, just open)shoulder mount and it looks great.

Here is the one I have mounted. Like I said it is an open mouth but not the snarling one.
