I have been searching for lightweight crossbows and came across Middleton. Reasonably priced, lightweight, pretty high speed. Sounded like a winner. E-mailed the manufacture and got no response. So what's up with them? Are they out of business or what?

I probably don't have enough experience to to give a valid opinion, but everyone has an opinion I research and researched and researched from October until January. I did not look into that brand, but I looked at a bunch of them. I settled on getting my son a TenPoint a couple of weeks ago. It was more than I originally planned on spending, but from what I heard as far as quality and customer service, I think it is worth it.

A TenPoint a Stealth SS. It is SWEET!!!

From what I have seen Middleton makes a fine crossbow, but it's pretty well a one man show. Customer service is kind of thin, but from what I have seen it's seldom needed. Very reliable trouble free bows. If I was going to buy a recurve crossbow I would seriously think about a Middleton. There's a lot of info at www.Crossbow Talk World on the good-bad of Middleton crossbows.
