I finally got sent a waterfowl survey and I made it very clear that I think the seasons begin and end too early in the year, I'm hoping that those of you who receive one will do your part in filling it out so that maybe we can finally hunt when the birds are really here.
They seemed to focus alot on the possible ban on motorized decoys, I don't know if this is a series of questions that appear every year but it sounds like they are getting pressure from somewhere to ban them spinning wings and such.
They were also pretty confident that we are going to have some Moderate, Restrictive, and even some Closed season frameworks coming up in the future. That's a scary thought.
Overall it was pretty thorough but they didn't directly ask if the late season timing was too early or too late just the Sept season, so I had to add that in the comments section at the end.
