Did you do any out of state duck hunting? BTW what's your recipe for Merganser. The way we cook a Merganser is. First soak it over night in milk and honey. Then the next morning cook it really slow in the over with onions and BBQ sauce. Turn it ever hour for 8 hours on low heat. This all must be done on a hickory board. When done. Pitch the duck and onions and eat the board. Lol

Of course...I know nothing of the sport other than you need (preferably) a gun, a call or two, a good retriever dog, unless your into the whole polar plunge thing, and a place to hunt...and a blind...and a mentor...maybe new hunting camo.... Maybe I just need a friend who has a dog, land, camo, calls, and a spare gun! LOL!

Lots of geese at my deer hunting spot, see a few mallards and American coot from time to time and always see wood ducks.

Let us know, there are a few of us that would be happy to help you out on your quest to become addicted to waterfowl. Especially if you have a spot you want to hunt! Have decoys/blinds/gear out the wazoo and will travel!

GENESIS: of course you know that not only would you need to provide complete and unrestrained access to your secret hunting spots but you alone will also be required to carry and set up as well tear down the spread each and every hunt. We, that meaning us experts who are willing to take you under our wing will need to be compensated for our advise and waterfowl shooting demonstrations by you providing snacks and drinks before and during the hunt along with a hearty breakfast after wards. I also would like you to know that it is only an act of courtesy that a heater be provided on those chilly days that we might encounter in the blind that you should provide us with. So don't forget us next year and BTW send me the GPS coordinates to your hot spots so I can review them. OH AND DON'T WORRY ALL OF THIS INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT IN STICKIEST CONFIDENCE.
