I have always wanted to try a RDT bow, but never really cared for the old Horton brand and the other company that makes them I can't aford. Wonder what kind of price it will have and what's kind of speed? I hope a problem free safety. I sure hope Tenpoint gets that issue solved without hurting them to much. I need to check my Wicked Ridge and see if it's OK although I would never try and pre-load my trigger, but I still want it to work if some how it did happen.

I'm hearing $1200 (with the AcuDraw) and $1,019 (with the Dedd sled)and speed of 370 fps with a 420 grain arrow.. Supposedly it also uses a different trigger/safety system. Be assured that TenPoint is working on the "safety issue". How many bows does this "trigger pre-loading" affect? Not sure. It doesn't affect my Stealth SS.

Woody, it's been a long time since I looked at new x-bows. I was in Cabelas this afternoon and met a friend there for lunch. Used the bathroom afterwards (in the back corner of the archery dept.) and when I walked back I saw a couple of crossbows sitting on a stand. Nice, I thought, they brought out some smaller ones for the kids.
I stopped and looked on the way out. Nope, those weren't kids bows, those were new TenPoints. MAN, are they narrow compared to my old Barnett Revolution!!!!!

I broke out My Wicked Ridge Invader today and tested the trigger on it and it was good to go. I use it as my back up bow and don't use it much anymore, but I'm happy it tested OK. I was hoping for about 800 bucks on the new Horton RDT bow, but I should have known better. Tenpoints a great company, but dang they are sure proud of their products. Who would ever thought twenty years ago we would be shelling out over a grand or more for a bow, vertical or horizontal.
