I will be listed as a designated shooter on a farm for crop depredation deer this year. If it's like the last depredation shoot (that I wasn't part of), the biologist said that rifles would be legal to use, providing the shooter was in an elevated stand. When the owner asked what was considered to be an elevated stand, the biologist said that as long as the shooters feet were 24" off of the ground or higher, it was O.K. We will get clarification again this year, but here's the question. When the owner asked if he could shoot from a telehandler, manlift or zoom boom, the biologist said no. Something like this, except with a basket on it instead of forks. I'm assuming it's because it is motorized. If that is correct, then could a person shoot from a platform that is attached to a trailer that could be towed behind a car or truck, providing that the trailer is not attached to the car or truck? Something like this, but not quite as fancy: ranchkingblinds.com/?portfolio=elevated-trailer-blind#prettyPhoto

Yes. I do not think there would be any issue with a trailer like this.
