I think your on to something here. Every smallie caught and not released should be checked in. I bet there would be a lot more 3+ pounders out there.

I guess when they open a new special season on a fish that is regulated by the feds then that would be a great idea!

At least when I went to school. I guess my personal experiences with creel clerks in Southern Indiana can be attributed to lazy creel clerks.

Can't say I blame them for the amount of pay. But, a creel survey is usually for 7 months or so, and the data is compiled over time. Missing a few fisherman here and there is no big deal. |
