Brad was kind enough to let me tag along this morning on his goose hunt with his son. First time (and second only time) in over 5 years I've been after some of our resident geese. Saw quite a few ducks early but nothing close, had a small gaggle come in that landed on the other side of our set up just out of range, then it was off and on for a couple more hours. I finally got a good shot on one and Brad's son also got surprised by a loner that came out of nowhere and decided to commit while we were just standing there.
Best thing is that I've now got BLING!!!! Mine had a band that has been reported already-it sure hadn't traveled far since it had been banded on the other side of town last year.
Going to have do this a little more often
