We ended up having a pretty successful hunt on Saturday. The geese, for the most part, were cooperative. The weather was on the money, and the wind just right. The birds that gave us fits ironically enough were the singles. The wanted in bad, but we just couldn't get them to commit. My guess is they saw there buddy get toasted at a previous field, and didn't want to have the same outcome. We also had a hard time working flocks of 30+ birds, but the rest of them wanted in pretty bad. We were hunting a flooded bean field, and had a mixed bag of motion decoys and floaters. We ended up with 18 birds, and probably should have dropped a few more, but I guess I could say that about almost any hunt. Here are a few pics of the hunt. setup looks great. Nice pile of birds. Did you have your dry suits on and were hiding in the water?

setup looks great. Nice pile of birds. Did you have your dry suits on and were hiding in the water? Not this time . It worked out good for us, there was a small tree line just about 20-25 yards west of our decoy spread, and the wind was out of the west.
