Duff, You questioning my creditability? If they were junk I would tell you and I wouldn't use them! But they're not! Again that report is my honest opinion of all the ones that I mentioned from my experience with them and also from first hand information from alot of friends that are hardcore waterfowlers. ;D Dakota is sponsoring us, but also we are given the task of field testing the decoys for Bill, and I can tell you that I have used them just as I would my Bigfoots previously, I told Bill that I would and I wanted to see how they would hold up, I'm happy so far! Next year we will have more to use as well, and I will be bagging them to help protect the flocked heads from getting too worn, just as you would with any flocked head decoy. As far as the paint, cracks, etc. I've not had any issues at all. There are some scuffs from chucking and piling them alittle on the bodies, but it is not flaking off any paint, just normal scuffs from rubbing and such, it knocks off the high spots just like you would with the Bigfoots after time of piling them. I see the Dakotas as what Bigfoots would be if they were to update their decoys and add a quality motion system. That is my honest opinion, not a biased one!

As a regular ole' huntin dude,, and keep in mind I rarely hunt out of the water,, the only thing I have used is bigfoots.. Except I did start off with 2 dozen Flambeua shells.. Niether have had any movement. Unless they are gonna walk around,, I dont see the advantage in just moving fractions. Only just another crazy fowl guys passion to have the newest thing out.. And I sure have all the other gadgets also. I have killed geese with using the MAGNUM shells.. I have 18 of them and use them sometimes still. But then again,, I rarely hunt on land past the Sept season. Hell,, up until this Feb season,, I never had a layout blind and always hunted out of goose chairs.. AGAIN,, usually in Sept. I can kill with bigfoots in traffic spots,, if a decoy can do that,, then I am sold. Remember the yard pics? I am not sponsored by bigfoot,, and not gonna even get $10 off my next dozen,, but will get some more. Flocked heads are next though. You can kick bigfoots all they way back to the truck,, shoot the rest of yer shells at em,, let the dog pee on em,, year after year,, they are good. Everyone has their own favorites though.. Thats what makes it fun. by the time the geese see the dekes are moving,, they are gonna be hearing my 1187 barkin away at'em...

I haven't paid a whole lot of attention ot this thread as I am not in the market to buy any decoys - goose, ducks or deer.
After it garnered a ton of posts I thought "what's going on"?
It appears that we are in a great Ford, Chevy, Dodge and Toyota debate. Is this a "My decoys are better than yours" debate?
Which is best? I don't have a clue, but I do know from otehr types of hutning that what works for one on a certain day might not work again the next day AND might never work for the next guy.
Just think - Indians used to kill waterfowl using mud and stick decoys...

If you want to kill geese, you got to drive a Toyota and shoot a dirty Super X2. Three more days to hunt, then I'm going to rest for a while.

Unless they are attempting to sell another brand... or sponsored by them. No doubt they are probably very nice dekes but I'll wait on unbiased reports. You think I would sell a crappy product, get lots of call backs and pi$$ed off customers??? Now THAT don't make a whole heck of a lot of sense, but then again.......... Edit..
