Just curios if anyone on here has entered a 2 man meat contest before. I just had a friend call and he was wondering if I had any interest in doing this. Thought I would see what kind of feed back i could get. I'm pretty sure you don't have to be a John Stephens to enter this but wanted to hear from someone whos entered this type before.
thanks,

They are ALOT of fun, and no pressure on one guy!! Just get up there and have fun!! You might want to listen to some soundfiles of some 2man meat contests, look on www.callingducks.com and see if you can find any for a 2 man meat competition. There is also going to be one here in Indy at the Expo Sat. Feb. 15th!

Yeah i've been looking on You tube and callingducks. I'm gonna meet with him tomorrow night and see how it sounds together. Probably record it and see how it sounds on the play back. The Deer, turky waterfowl expo is what i was referring too. Might just show up.

Well met up with my buddy who wanted to enter the 2 man contest and practiced together for about 1.5 hours. Neither one of us has ever called in a competition before. I think were gonna give it a shot and see what happens. We don't expect to win, but it otta be fun and a learning experience at that. I look forward to meeting some people there and putting a face with a screen name.

It's hard to win your first time. Just give it your best shot and talk to the judges at the end and they will let you know what they were wanting to hear different. Just have fun and enjoy the rush of being on stage.
