Ok so I was thinking about heading out Friday morning. Temps are good, only a 30 percent chance of light rain, and the wind is blowing to the east until around 11(our deer are coming from the south). However, the winds increase to 16 mph by noon as well as an increase in chance of precipitation. Do you think this will jumpstart deer movement in the early morning hours before the heavy wind picks up?

Hopefully the falling barometric pressure gets them up and moving. Unfortunately I can't get out Friday morning, but I hope to be out Friday mid-day ... before I have to climb down out of the stand to take the kids trick-or-treating. I'm down in a bottom where the winds never seem to blow as hard as they do just up the road where I park.

I would like to think it will get them moving. I will be out, providing I don't get one Thursday night, and will try to sit until 11 or so.

This time of year hunt every minute you can regardless of weather. Pre-rut seeking and chase phase is in full swing. You are as likely to see a shooter at midday as morning or evening.

I believe Sunday is going to be the best day. We have high winds forcasted for Friday and Saturday but Sunday morning is going to be cold with a high of only 50 and an E 5 mph wind.
I think after two really windy days a calm sunday is going to be filled with lots of movement
