Was at the Slough slaying the blue gills on Sunday. There were so many flippin geese in the air it was hard to concentrate. I think they were all laughing at me. I dont ever remember seeing so many. Also had the local swans chillin as well. I meant to grab my camera but left it in the truck. Hopefully some of those birds make their way down here next week.

We were at Kankakee FWA sunday along the yellow river - in the afternoon there were so many geese coming into the river by us that we had to yell from 50 feet to hear each other - looked like a few thousand of them converging on that li'l stretch of river.
When we left we crossed the river on SR 39 and to the NE there were so many geese on the river that we could barely see water for about 70 yards...river was literally covered with geese from bank to bank. i have never seen so many geese in one place before...was really neat for the wife and son to see as well.
