Well we were out with some friends we met last season: Leon and Don. Leon called me the other day to tell me he had a good spot for this weekend to come hunt/film, so we decided to head out for a hunt this morning. Leon and his regular hunting buddies, Don, Gene, and Lenny (Mike

), and Daniel (Hoosiercanuck) joined in on the hunt to help haul the decoys and try some filming!

It was a cold overcast morning, but we were hopeful. About 9:00 everything started to fly, we had a TON of birds all around, but they were on a mission! It was really tough to persuade them over to our spread even though they were only 150 yards over, but they all played follow the leader and it was a tough one. We had several hundred ducks all over us and wanting to land in the spread!!! We managed to knock out 8 birds for the morning.

It was a fun hunt and we got some great footage, and we had a great time meeting Leon's buddies and hunting together!! I look forward to doing it again sometime!
