Have they ever put out a map showing # of hunters per area at Big Oaks refuge?

Yes if you go to their web site they have that along with the total deer taken over the last 10 yrs along with percents of deer taken to hunters

I saw the area map and %'s but didnt see how many hunters per area. Maybe I overlooked it. Thanks

Thank you canesfan. This is exactly what i was looking for. Have you hunted BO and know how they separate the hunters or is it just up to the individuals to try to separate. Satellite looks like some of the acreage in my area are not much for bowhunting

Yes I've hunted it a few times. They let everyone choose their own spot. Most everyone I've run into down there has been nice about it. If someone is already there I just go pick out a different spot in my area. To me it's a first come basis if you want a certain spot in your area

OK That is How it is when we hunt Crane also. Have never had a real problem. With this being first time up there wanted to have as much worked out so we can spend more time hunting. Usually at crane if there is a car there you just go down the road. Hopefully something will be moving or get pushed by us. I hear it is a nice woods so that will be almost worth the drive. Were you able to find much sign in there or just hunt by some thick stuff and oaks
