Who's ready for the start of the HUNTING SEASON ? I'm not , I still need to get my License and stamps , HIP # , call up the land owner on where I want to hunt , Steel shot for Doves , All of this will be done by Saturday I hope .

I have been ready since I got my HIP# at the beginning of August. Doves yes. Geese no. Teal in a week or so maybe.

are there any teal in IN now? I see where guys are signing up to hunt water fowl at Bluegrass F&W are down here in Warrick County, IN but I've not seen many teal here.

NO, Don't you know ducks hate Indiana.
I have not seen any yet this year and only heard of a handful being taken.

Been out tonight for ducks, usually by now my friend and I have had a good start but this season it is very slow, tonight we never Seen one duck. I can only think the weather is too mild and they are all on the foreshore, but if they come we are ready, lol Regards Billy

All the ducks are hanging around the retention ponds in the Indy suburbs. I see dozens of ducks and geese every time I look out my bedroom window or step out my front door.
