Does anyone know if there's anything that can be done to treat trees that are showing signs of scale? I have 3 very large trees and about half a dozen medium size trees that i'm told have it. I tried calling my local Purdue Extension office, but the gentleman i need to talk to is out until the fair is over.
I saw a video showing treatment of a small tree (soaking the base with a solution), but wasn't sure if that would work on a much larger tree.
