Nope, I have a good friend that has a lease up there, the guys he leases with have 800 acres along the wabash, and the water is out there. Said there were probably 5000-6000 on the waters up along the river out in the fields. They have limited out on mallards today. I know that down here all of our ducks took off, and they did not go further south, they went north. Good time to go scout that area out if you can.

I was on the water yesterday. Most of the water is gone, as well as many of the birds. We sure had them for a while though. Water dropped 6 inches while we were out yesterday....6 inches in 6 hours.

I think they all headed for southern Illinois. I was headed over to southern Illinois to deer hunt yesterday afternoon when saw way ahead of me a huge flock of birds. From a distance I thought" Man that is a bunch of blackbirds. Wait a minute! Som of those "blackbirds" were in formation." Once I got closer I could see it was geese. There had to be at least 1,000 birds in that bunch. A LOT of white (snow geese) in the bunch. This was about halfway between Norris City and Dale.
