Got out for just my second goose hunt of the year this morning. Been doing to much deer hunting. About 8:30 a guy with one of those big Polaris 4 wheel things with the bed on the back drives right past me and sets up up about 200 yards from me. He puts his layout blind and decoys out and leaves his 4 wheeler about 100 yards from him. Funny thing is here I am with about 35 homemade silouettes out and I am laying in my deer sled with burlap and corn on the top of me and when the geese came the flared at him and came right to me. As they were landing I promptly sprayed my shot into the air with nothing falling. Ended up doing this twice. Later I shoot and down a duck and the rest fly way over his head. He shots. Later I ask him about his long shot and he said that is what we call an FM shot. Freaking (he used another word) Miracle shot he said. I was upset when this guy set up so close to me but I guess he probably only helped me.
