Waterfowl gang:
I sent Woody a PM about this as it has been a major topic in many of the threads this month. Here is what I put in my first paragraph:
"Woody, the sensivitivity of some of these guys is unreal. I can not for the life of me understand why a person would get so bent out of shape over some comments on a website. Going off topic is part of a good chat. Some of the comments were very good advice, some was not presented well but I am sure the intent was there. It is important to know the laws of a river. Some don't some do."
Plain and simple if going off topic is that offensive to you all I am sorry but I will not participate any longer. I didn't see all that was posted before it was edited but regardless the message I am getting is if you can not keep it on topic. Go elsewhere. I enjoy a good thread that leads to different corners and bends, that is life. Never know what will pop up next.
So long folks, enjoy your topics. I am out.

A partial PM response to Duff...
We have a few new guys here that seem to want to throw rocks at some others each and every time. Then the others throw rocks back.
However, it is a two way street. Rocks have been thrown both ways..It is just getting old that a person can not post about a hunt without someone else saying that they shouldn't have done this or that. They read the post not with interest but try to find something that could possibly be wrong.
Very little "congratulations" anymore, just a whole lot of "were you legal", "looks like trespassing", "did you overbag", "can't you identify ducks", "one black a day is the limit", etc, etc, etc.
I don't know what the answer is but it does need to stop..
What concerns me more than taking a thread off topic (cause Lord knows I've done it myself) is why the thread is taken of topic. It is the intent of that person that bothers me. If it is to just throw a rock at the thread starter then that needs to be addressed.
Like I said I see this from just about all quarters anymore.
Not too sure what the problems are but people should not be taking pot shots at others just for the hell of it. That is not what this board is supposed to be about.
