Took these blacks over the weekend.. Was out with 3 hunting companions last Mon.. 15 mins after legal time rolled in we harvested what I had ID as 2 mallards... But,, after I went out in the boat to fetch,, I was SURPRISED to see a fully mature pair of blacks.. They were a FANTASTIC way for me to end my season.. Thank goodness it was the other 3 that fired on these birds,, cause I have spent way to much $$ at the taxi man this year.. And these were mounters fer sure... This guy in the pic has only been hunting 2 times now.. I figured it would be a cool pic for him to hold up both!! But there is another guy sitting in the chair beside him with his hood up...I was so excited after they harvested the blacks,, I was ready to call it a day... But,, we still had the rest of the morning to hunt..... This pair was the highlight of the days hunt!!!
