I currently plant serval food plots and know baiting is illegal in Indiana. My question is if you put out a feeder or mineral station could you fence off this section so the deer could not get to it and be legal without digging up the dirt and how big of an area would have to be fenced off ?

If you fenced the area off, it would have to be enough to ensure that under no circumstances he deer could not access the effected area. You would have to fence off the complete area that was effected. However, the statute clearly states that the bait and any effected soil must be REMOVED at least 10 days prior to hunting the area.
