You guys need to stop picking apart every thread that is posted on here.
I've spent more time scrutinizing posts on the Waterfowl section the last two weeks than I have since day one.
Clean it up guys..
Nice hunt Travis... thanks for sharing..

Awesome story and pics! The bank on the White is usually pretty easy to pick out. You did the right thing by clearing it with the local law. It is a grey area, at best. We get trespassers out of the banks all the time where I hunt, gets frustrating.

Josh and Dan, I lived down in that area for seven years. I will not give away the hidey hole. As far as the posts pertaining to legality that spot is well below the high water mark. As well as that stretch being high quality smallie fishing it is also top quality cat water. One of my favorite spots in the state. Kevin

I dont understand why everyone is so up in arms about being on the island. I hunt an island on the Wabash all the time(when the water is down) and I have been hunting it for years. I dont know who owns it, if anybody. We get approached every year at least twice by the CO and they have never said anything about the island. They just come out and make sure we are legal and thats it. They wish us good luck and go on their way. Is there something else I should know about??

Depends on if someone claims ownership and pays taxes on the island.

Or calls the law to have trespassers arrested. If no one complains a CO won't suspect you are tresspassing. Rest assured if there are trees growing or grass growing it is probably included in someones property. Many are not too concerned about it though.
Just my opinion. But lets not get too far from these pics. Some guys get touchy when their post get off topic...

We have actually looked into buying the island we hunt on and you really have to go through alot of red tape so we just left it alone. Like I said I have been hunting it for year and the guy I am with has been hunting it since High School, so I guess until someone comes forth we will continue on!!!!

YEP... that would be ME
I posted here not long ago ..
You guys need to stop picking apart every thread that is posted on here.
I've spent more time scrutinizing posts on the Waterfowl section the last two weeks than I have since day one.
Clean it up guys..
........and you all still persist.
The orginal poster has now pulled the first post. Why? Because some get their kicks out of looking at a thread and seeing what kind of crap they can throw into the mix.
Folks are going to quit posting about their hunts just because the catch a ration of crap every time they do. And I don't blame them if they did.
My advice to everyone... if you cant stay on topic and just want to stir up crap, do it somewhere else.
