Hey Guys n Gals I'm new to crossbows and just bought one. Its the Barnett Raptor. I've been really impressed with the bow and just to let everyone know about them. It has 150# pull, 93 kp(I think its kp), and 330 fps. Its really accurate and shoots flat. I shot 3 arrows are 25yds and all hit within a 2in ring on the first line of scope (4x32). So now I'm sitting at the 40 yd line. So I go to the third line down and shot one arrow 6in high. So go back up to 2nd line and hit perfectly on 2 arrows within 2in. And I have to back my target out more. If anybody is in the market for a new bow crossbow or need arrows or anything with archery. Go to frames archery in liberty Indiana. Oscar runs the archery range and sales. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and actually lets you test fire. So happy waiting to go hunting.

Congratulations!!!
I love my crossbow, even after it kicked me in the face. I also have a Barnett Quad...I think. Even when my ship comes in, I won't get a more expensive unit. I got my first buck with it, so it must be good luck. :-)

Jon I don't how much you gave for yours, but I think mine was 150 to 200 dollars cheaper. They have about same fps and its much lighter. It weighs 6.5 pounds. I'm really happy with it.

Great!
I do like to buy quality in anything. I've learned the hard way too many times. I'm thrilled when I can find all the quality that I need for a good price. I think mine shoots hard. It's loud and not the lightest on the market, but I couldn't be happier for the price. It does the job.
I'm not sure that I'd want one that shot any harder. Some targets are too soft for it and will mess up a fletching.
I hope you get a nice trophy with it this year. A crossbow is just fun to shoot; every guy needs one.
