I decided to head out for one last try on a gobbler yesterday afternoon. A bit unconventional and crazy, but I loaded the recurve and the gun on my KLR650 and headed out. Within the next half hour, I was gettin' thumped pretty good with hail. We just kept on! Down south near Seymour, I got pelted again! Now this was just a wild adventure! As I pulled in to the property, I saw a coyote trotting across a cut bean field making its way to our woods. Didn't hesitate a second. I wrapped the throttle on the Kawasaki, stood up on the pegs, opened up the Vance & Hines, and busted clods with a bead for the yote!!! All I can say it must have looked pretty comical This much is for sure. Them dang things are fast. I didn't gain on him til I was up to 50mph!!! At first he hesitated and then he looked like, "What the heck...?!" and the dirt boogey was on!!! I probably came to within 30 yards of him but man that was a blast! I just wish I would've had my GoPro mounted. Well, let's just say, that's how my 2014 turkey season ended!!!

I know yotes are scum of the earth but... is chasing one on a motor vehicle legal?
or for that matter, moral in a fair chase "hunter" sort of way?

Kind of like Ghengis Khan on horseback! You need a 48" SuperMag
