I did an evening hunt tonight and saw 3 Toms out in the field, and never came any closer than 175 yards watched them strut in this field for 2 hrs. Sat in blind till dark and never saw the 1st bird in the woods, I plan on hunting there again tomorrow, It will be my last hunt of the season, as I have work the next several days and can not get off, but plan to hunt as long as I can, got food all packed and ready for a long sit if needed. Take care all and shoot straight.

Never rooted a bird a bird, come the next morning I had 2 birds gobbling there heads off, Both birds pitched into open field and I never saw them, late in the day yesterday I had a lone Hen come walking in the woods with 2 Toms in tow, The toms hung up as she passed by at 30 yards, I could see the toms strutting but for some reason went out of the woods, and were scared off by the farmer as he started spraying. I well had a great season learned a lot, but will be unable to hunt any more due to work, unless something changes?

We don't learn or nearly appreciate the bird when we walk into a woods and get one every time. You have a great attitude.
