I use a $10 Haydel's dr-85. I don't have any complaints, easy to blow, doesn't stick. Worse part is they stink something fierce new out of the box. Has to be the plastic

Haydel's calls are made out of Polybutalene, vs. modern polycarbonate calls, and that is where the smell comes from the polybutalene. Great calls, the only flaw is that the polybutalene doesn't last long before it becomes brittle, plus it does smell!! ;(

Got 5 yrs out of the broke one and 3 yrs on this one. I have always had easy time with ducks, never felt the need for anything fancy. I stick with the KISS approach. Keep It Simple Stupid, if it ain't broke don't fix it, and one cheap mofo when it comes to duck hunting. Now geese I have a weekness for them decoys, calls, and blinds
