Great Family Season with Pics

I had a great turkey season with my boys and we were all fortunate enough to kill longbeards. Declan stated us off in Kentucky on the opening weekend of youth season with a 23 1/2 lb. bird which had a 10 1/4" beard and 1 3/8" spurs, he shot it in full strut at 12 yards. Cody scored next on the opening morning of Indiana youth season with a 18 lb. bird with an 11" beard and 1" spurs, and he made a great 45 yard shot on it. I was lucky enough to get my gobbler on opening morning after watching him strut for close to 2 hours with 2 hens. My bird was 22 lbs., had a 10 1/2" beard and 22 mm spurs. We were truly blessed this spring and I hope we can get lucky again next year!
