I got a call on Thurs. from Dan (Hoosiercanuck) and Travis (BSUTravis), they had a good spot scouted out for Friday, so we set up to film the hunt. Dan brought his friend Mark, Travis invited Corey (Stillwater Sniper) up, and I brought a friend J.B.. So we had 6 guys total. I filmed the first half of the hunt, Travis limited out and decided to film the 2nd half of the hunt and let me hunt, it started out slow, but really picked up and we had an awesome hunt!!! The first flock wanted to work, but didn't like something, so we removed the white covers from the blinds (bad UV coloring), and repositioned the dekes some to match the changed wind, and Voila!!! They really banged in the decoys then!!! Several of them actually just landed first!! Anyway, great hunt, and thanks to Dan and Travis!!! Here's some photos of the hunt! The group in their blinds (before we removed the covers!) Travis doing alittle filming. Dan in his blind. Mark moving decoys. J.B. picking up his last goose (actually the last goose to fill the limit for the day!). Corey in his blind. The last goose of the day's limit going down!!! Now the trophy photos!! Travis Dan J.B. Corey Mark And myself, Matt Group photo!

Matt, a word to the wise. Get rid of the snow covers,go to walmart and buy the snow spray that people use on their windows. If you look at the pics the covers have a bluish tint to them. You can buy that spray for about two bucks a can. It's the same product that Macks sells for 7.99. Nice hunt,Kevin

Yeah, I usually use the spray snow, actually had 4 cans with me, we thought we'd try the white sheets, never again... to much bluish UV color on them!! Now the tyvek snow covers are awesome!! They really blend in! I like the spray snow as well and usually what I use, but I may get one of those Avery tyvek snow covers to use for those really snowing days! Light snow with stubble, I like the spray snow to blend in more. Will... you like that lanyard!? It's a Muddydog special for the H.I.T. SQUAD! I'm sure if Kevin's reading this, he is laughing, he hates that lanyard!! ;D
