I didn't see a thread posted for this year, so I figured I get one started. Seems it is going to be later like it was last year before they start popping. My grandma and I went out Friday and found some tiny greys. We went out yesterday and found some more tiny greys in a different spot.
Here is a video showing some of the small greys we found yesterday (there's also a bass thrown in there)...

Haven't seen any in Laporte County, have seen some truck tracks in the woods next door so folks are starting to look. Snow on the ground this morn. but going to be warm and some light rain for the next 10 days.

A quick trip showed 6 greys with the largest just under 3". The smallest was, well, very small (and still there). Not enough there to pick any yet.

I found 51 good-sized morels yesterday. Mostly yellows, along with blacks & grays.

Found (212) 3"-6" mostly yellows on Saturday! Found a good number of 3" spear-heads on the cooler North hillsides.

I looked for them for the first time ever Saturday. Scoured my whole property and found one. I guess I'm not a very good morel hunter...
