We have three signed up for a Canada waterfowl hunt for October 2008 and are looking for two more guys. We will be hunting Manitoba with an outfitter. This is the same outfitter we used this past October. He provides lodging, decoys, blinds, transportation to and from hunting area and does all the scouting. Guys, this is a hunt of eight ducks and five dark and 20 snow goose daily limits. We can also hunt ruffed grouse and prairie chickens. The cost is $1200 for a full five day hunt. A 50% deposit is required by 1 March and the balance due upon arrival in camp. Let me know if your wanting to go or have any questions.

I think were still planning a freelance hunt in SK in late sept. early Oct. I'm assuming you had a good hunt with this guy back in Oct. Never did hear your reports.

hoosiercanuck did the pictures and reporting, see 911s attachment. The outfitter treated us very good and got us on the birds. Great accommodations and even provided a couple meals for us, when we were not eating duck. We 're looking on going a week earlier this year and maybe having better luck with the Canadas.

Friends. I've never been myself. One friend went to Buck Paradise a few years back and his brother n law has went back 2 or 3 times to Buck paradise. This would be my first time and our first freelance hunt up there. Still trying to get confirmation from my friends on whos going whos not.

Looks like if we go its gonna be up somewhere between Ragina and Wadena. Gonna depend on where we want to stay. Whether we rent this guys cabin or go the motel route. Send me a PM if you have any more questions about specific details.

I once slept between Ragina and Wadena. I was warm all night.

Was it the hairy legs or arm pits that kept you warm?

When in Canada, Duff, one must accept the fact that the men are men, and so are the women. Embrace and tolerate other cultures while abroad, and expand your horizons. This and other quips, puns, and travel anecdotes can be found in Chico's new book, "When in Rome."
