With the ridiculous cost of .22 ammo, who all is shooting air guns? I have a low-end Crossman that is fairly accurate to 15 yards (3" groups), but am seriously considering moving up to a better quality air rifle.
Let's hear what you have, and how you like it.

The good ones will do the job.
I've still got three bricks of 550 left of the 22s. Bought a LONG time ago and I think I paid about $9 each. I haven't shot the hand gun for awhile so these will last me.

Back before I was old enough to own a .22 Rifle; I had a Sheridan Blue Streak .20 cal. (5 mm) pellet rifle. I harvested my very first game animals with it: Fox Squirrels and Rabbits. Currently, I have over 3,600 rounds of .22 LR ammunition, the last ten boxes of 100 CCI-Mini Mags. I bought in 2007, and paid $3.75/100 sales tax included. Bought these at the westside Rural King store. Down here, where I live now, I have since bought two Bricks of .22 LR Winchester Super-X HPs & three cartons of 550 Federal Brand .22 LRHPs back in 2009. So I am fairly well supplied with .22 Long Rifle ammo.

I have plenty of .22lr to last, but I'm fond of air rifles.
I have a FWB 124D and have had it since the early '70's (2 of them to be exact) and in the late 1990's I bought an Air Arms TX200. The TX200 is heavier, but being an underlever, it's a bit more accurate. Both wear good scopes, and both will group around 1" or less (depending on the wind) at 50 yds if I do my part. Both have been "accurized" and shoot right around 900 fps with Crosman 7.9g premier pellets.
If you want to get good, do some research and see if there are any Field Target competitions near you.
If I were to buy another, I'd go with a pre-charged pneumatic and put a moderator on it. Top of the line PCP's are pricey, but their accuracy puts my spring guns to shame, and the moderated ones are almost silent.
