been trying to come up with a different way of displaying antlers other than the usual plaques one sees. Its a work in progress but here's where its at so far. For some background info, all these were killed on the same 20 acres of our Hancock county farm. The wood is from the dilapidated barn that is still standing there. Inside the old horse stalls the walls were lined with split logs about five foot high x 10-12 inches wide. I split one down to this size for mounting the antlers. Im thinking of replacing it with an old cedar post from the farm complete with some strands of old rusty barbed wire. Anywho. What ya think of the idea so far? ![](http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/trapperDave/IMG_20140205_151905_964_zps8u28yjo1.jpg)

I like the post/barb wire idea.
Maybe somewhere on there (small but still readable) put the year and who shot the deer.
