Does anyone have a idea when the Feb dates will be? 1---15? When will they be out, or where will they be posted?

I've taken the below info from the Refuge.
It's a done deal...Feb. 1-15 for the following counties:
Steuben, Lagrange, Elkhart, St. Joseph, La Porte, Starke, Marshall, Kosciusko, Noble, De Kalb, Allen, Whitley, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Boone, Hamilton, Madison, Hendricks, Marion, Hancock, Morgan, Johnson, Shelby, Vermillion, Parke, Vigo, Clay, Sullivan, Greene.
All birds must be checked by a DNR biologist. The 30 counties that are being allowed this special hunt are locked in for at least 3 years, there will not be any added during that time span.

I've seen the email from Adam Phelps about this hunt, those counties and dates are correct to my recollection. 5 a day limit.

2007-2008 Waterfowl Seasons -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Early Migratory Game Bird Seasons Falconry Seasons Waterfowl Regulations HIP Registration 2007-2008 Waterfowl Regulations (PDF, 520 KB) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ducks, Coots and Mergansers Waterfowl breeding habitat improved in most of prairie Canada, and was in good to excellent condition. Portions of the Dakotas remain very dry, but some areas, especially eastern South Dakota, have improved greatly since last year. Production this year is expected to be very good to excellent.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) estimates the mallard breeding population at 8.3 million, about 14% above last year. Estimates of most species increased, while pintail and scaup populations remained flat. Canvasbacks and redheads are at record levels, prompting USFWS to add a second canvasback to the daily bag limit this year. North Zone Oct. 13, 2007 - Oct. 19, 2007 Oct. 27, 2007 - Dec. 18, 2007 South Zone Oct. 20, 2007 - Oct. 28, 2007 Nov. 21, 2007 - Jan. 10, 2008 Ohio River Zone Oct. 27, 2007 - Oct. 28, 2007 Nov. 24, 2007 - Jan. 20, 2008 The daily bag limit for ducks is six. This includes any combination of goldeneyes, ruddy ducks, ring-necked ducks, buffleheads, gadwalls, long-tailed ducks, scoters, teal, wigeon and shovelers. Included in the daily limit of six are additional restrictions on the following: Mallards: Only four mallards may be taken daily, including not more than two females.
Scaup: Only two scaup may be taken daily.
Wood ducks: Only two wood ducks may be taken daily.
Redheads: Only two redheads may be taken daily.
Black ducks: Only one black duck may be taken daily.
Canvasback: Only two canvasbacks may be taken daily.
Pintails: Only one pintail may be taken daily.
The daily bag limit for coots is 15. The daily bag for mergansers (which is separate from the duck limit) is five, including not more than two hooded mergansesr.
Possession limit for ducks, coots and mergansers is two times the daily bag limit.
Shooting hours: one-half hour before sunrise to sunset. Shooting hours at some DNR properties may vary.
Canada Geese The Southern James Bay and Mississippi Valley populations of Canada geese experienced another early spring, and as a result are expected to show very good production. The Mississippi Flyway giant population continued its upward trend this year. A late cold snap may have reduced giant productivity in some areas (such as northern Michigan and southern Indiana), but overall breeding conditions were good. If the weather cooperates, Indiana has the potential for another excellent goose season.
