Hey guys, just joined up today. LOVE waterfowl hunting, but I'm kind of in the wrong part of the country for that. Still trying to meet some guys I can hunt waterfowl with. Let me know if you'd welcome an extra guy. Just got into deer hunting and turkey this past year. Killed a 9-pt buck first time out. Didn't grow up hunting, so I'm learning on my own now. Have a kid and another on the way, and I want them to grow up knowing how to hunt. Glad to join up here! Hope to learn a lot from you guys....  |

You are close to Kentucky, and Illinois also. There is some great Waterfowl Hunting about 2 hours southwest of you down along the Mississippi River and in the Reelfoot lake area along the Kentucky/ Tennessee border.

I spent many years hunting and fishing in Indiana before I moved here. If you search online about Duck and Waterfowl Hunting at Reelfoot Lake, or in northwest Tennessee near the Mississippi River you will find a lot of information. People come here from all over the world to waterfowl hunt the Mississippi River Flyway. |

Hello from Hobart In. for the most part i'm a self taught hunter . My father hunted a little as our family grew up , but quit hunting in the early 1980's then i started hunting in the late 80's and the rest as they say is history . i started hunting pigeons and doves then upgraded to squirrels , pheasants and rabbits . dabbled in waterfowl , deer , turkey . I had a few hunting partners but they moved on and for the most part quit hunting . my sister joins me from time to time , but mainly i hunt alone now .
