Rob McIntyre (firstwd) invited us to come and film their youth waterfowl hunt they sponsor through his hunter education class. We hunted near Greensburg, IN. I really appreciate Rob inviting us and letting us be a part of this, and thank him for taking the time to do this for the youth! Here are some photos of the morning....

The guides for todays hunt.. members of the Purdue Univ. Ducks Unlimited chapter, great guys and did an awesome job with the kids! This is the guides from our blind, Cody and Adam.

Our youth in our blind... I can't remember all the names unfortunately. The kids did awesome and each got a bird, they were really pumped as it was the first duck hunt they've ever been on!

Some of the dads that were out with us also. They actually were brothers that had boys about the same age, great guys and it was their first time out in a duck blind also! I think they're hooked now! ;D

Again our whole clan in our blind...minus myself behind the camera! ;D

And some group photos of the whole clan that came out for the youth hunt... Good times and a great event to be a part of... Thanks again Rob! Be looking for these youth on our DVD!! ;D

Thank you Matt, for coming down and making these kid's day. None of them seemed to be camera shy. I am so glad the birds worked as well as they did yesterday. We took the teaching team's kids out this morning and had three teal commit, one lone goose commit suicide and three others that the cooperated, but got away with just a few less feathers. I should have went with the first instincts and hit the field.

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the guys from Purdue DU guys. They saved me on this hunt( we had a class fall on the same weekend). If there are any Purdue Alumni that is looking for a DU chapter, please look into this one. Yes, gentleman I was serious. Any time you want to go, just call me. You have an open invitation.

My son was on this hunt and had great time. He deer, squirel, and rabbit hunts and fishes with his dad, uncles and grandpa's, but has never duck hunted. I think my husband had as much fun as he did. Thank you so much to everyone who was involved and put this together! We would really like to hear about future youth hunts.

These guys really know how to hunt and show the youth a good time in the process of teaching.

I'm glad that your son and husband enjoyed it.

Huntmom...Thank you. We had a great time with the kids. I'm guessing since my phone hasn't range the "dad's" won't be up this weekend. I will keep the email address I have and let you know when the next plans are. The dad's have an inventation to come back and the boys are welcome to come with them. The pics are still there, maybe not showing when you were on. I will try to get a CD or send a flash drive to the camera man and make CD's for everyone. Matt what would be easier, me sending you a flash drive or just sending you blank CD's?
