so i just bought a 45 cal CVA hunterbolt from a guy today, and he gave me a bunch of hornady sabbots and stuff. but anyway.. he gave me a box of hogdens 50 grain pellets, the box says they are for 50 cal and they seem like they will go down my barrell but it seems like i would have to ram em down. he said he used them all the time in it. what do you guys think

If u have to (ram them down) they are probbly cracking and crumbling. this would give inconsistant fire(volisity) andcould affect your point of impact. If u just play with those i would not worry but would want to get correct size to work up my hunting load so i know how it will shoot shot to shot.
